An excerpt from today's announcement:

In order to decrease the costs associated with endurance racing, we have collectively decided to switch the LMP2 category to a spec engine. For this engine we have decided to go with a 6.2L V8 produced by Chevrolet. This motor has been proven to be able to work in a wide verity of cars, ranging from class winning GT cars to Yugos. For a very small budget, we feel that the LMP2 category will be able to remain competitive in the World Endurance Championship.

You do realize that I made up the part about the LMP2's being forced to use small block Chevy's, right? Their spec engine has yet to be announced.

But in TUSC, PC does run LS3's
